Villa Oliveto, a country relais between Versilia beaches and the town of Lucca, lies on the slope of a private hill, which looks down on the coast of Versilia, from Cinqueterre to Livorno.On the groundfloor there is a wide living room with a fireplace and a library, where the guests can rest or read a book, and a large garden with a panoramic_view on the tirrenian sea where breakfasts, during the good season, are served.For breakfasts we use only local products,as marmelade, cheese, ham, akes (handmade). The swimming pool, in the middle of the garden, is open from may to october. Villa Oliveto is sourrended by 8.000 sq.m. of grounds,with flowers and trees. Its setting is ideal for excursions down to the beaches on the coast,as well as to many interesting locations nearby the house. The hill is at 6 km. from the sea of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi,and you can reach the historical towns of Lucca in half an hour. You can also visit nearby the famous Michelangelo's marble quarries,or the old towns of Pietrasanta and Camaiore,Cinque Terre and Golfo dei Poeti. Firenze is at 90 km, Siena 140, Sangemignano 80.
